Singer Mimi is apparently keen to purchase the late Michael Jackson’s former living room furniture.

TMZ.com reports that Carey has reportedly asked her personal interior designer to bid on an ornate collection once owned by the King of Pop in the auction being held tomorrow (25.06.10) in Las Vegas.

Jackson originally purchased the furniture for a mansion he was due to reside in during his ‘This Is It’ tour in London.

The set is expected to raise $1 million despite only costing the singer $200,000, with proceeds from the sale going to Jackson’s estate.
