Following in the footsteps of Eva Longoria and Gisele Bundchen, look who’s the new face of the London Fog A/W ’10 ad campaign – yes, it’s Christina Hendricks (as in Joan Harris in Mad Men, just in case you were like, “who”?).

The red head (not that you can tell in the B&W snaps but she is) models the brand’s outerwear and accessories collection – and also throws in a few curves just to give it that ‘real woman’ in a sassy trench coat feel.

Talking about her latest gig, Hendricks said:

“London Fog is a classic brand, which I love. It also ties in to Mad Men, we used London Fog in the show and this is a nice way to tie everything together. The trench is such an iconic shape for men and women. It works for anyone – it worked in the 1960s and it works now”.

And according to Dari Marder, the label’s Chief Marketing Officer, it was the actresses’ own timeless glamour that landed her the modelling role: “Christina has a modern appeal but also harks back to a bygone era”.

Shot by Nino Muñoz, the seductively styled ads are set to debut across all October fashion and lifestyle issues as well as outdoor and online.
