Only I don’t remember ever seeing Marc Jacobs hanging around her with a shopping trolley, but heh, in New York, anything can happen – and if my life is anything to go by, it usually does. But that’s another story.

The singer and designer have appeared on the cover of V Magazine’s New York edition, shot by photographer Mario Testino and styled by Nicola Formichetti (yes, she who transformed the singer into her male alter-ego, Jo Calerdone).

I’m quite liking punked out Lady Liberty, but oh those heel-less shoes, how many times have we seen those now. ‘Throw’ and ‘bin’ spring to mind.
