After a performance that sparked controversy on last night’s X-Factor, Danyl Johnson is probably feeling a little less confident this morning.

The X-Factor contestant performed the Jennifer Hudson song ’And I’m Telling You , changing the lyrics to be about a girl rather than a boy. However, in her comments Dannii Minogue made a barbed reference to why the lyrics were altered, referring to the interview Danyl gave to a daily tabloid about his bisexuality.  The comment caused confusion on live TV with Simon Cowell asking Minogue to repeat what she said and a shocked Danyl staring blankly at the judges.  Cowell stepped into rescue his act by swaying the conversation back to his performance, calling it “amazing”. But even Chezza Cole made reference to Danyl’s arrogance, agreeing with Louis Walsh that he had no “likeability factor”. 

And if that wasn’t enough, in today’s Sunday tabloids Johnson has been labelled a “bully” by judge Louis Walsh, after he complained that Johnson was “arrogant, vile and everything he doesn’t like”..when he reportedly told group Kandy Rain “they had no chance of winning”. 

Oh well Danyl…maybe the choice of song wasn’t a good idea…because you might just well be ‘going’!
