“So, then I landed it in the river…” says Harrison Ford

More news for ‘The Notebook’ genre.

As my mom would say, “It’ll happen to you some day, kiddo.”

That’s right, unless you die, you too will get old. This is why you should pay attention to the fact that Captain Chelsey Sullenberger, the man who landed that plane in the Hudson and did NOT appear in ‘Airplane!’, is going to have his story told in Hollywood after the captain spoke at an aviation event with none other than handsome actor person Harrison Ford.

You may say, “Why, Karen, those people are way too OLD for me to be interested in their story. I want young things, like the Facebook film where everyone is talking about sex and computer coding.” I will snap right back saying, “Ah yes, but you too will die.”

Anyway, the man they’re calling the ‘miracle pilot’ has had his book optioned – you know, the one called, “Highest Duty: My Search for What Really Matters.” If you remember, Sullenberger safely landed a whole airplane in the Hudson River in 2009, after he hit some geese. I had goose for Christmas last year, and I know how that plane feels.
