Tommy Hilfiger to pop-up across Europe

You’ve heard of pop-up shops (basically a retail space/venue which is temporary), and now designer Tommy Hilfiger is taking the idea to a whole new level.

In a collaboration with Preppy Handbook author Lisa Burnbach, Hilfiger and his team have built an 800 square foot travelling beach cottage (pic above) which opens in Manhattan, New York on April 28 for a week. It will then travel across the pond (let’s hope it has floats attached) to cities including Paris, Milan, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Tokyo, Madrid and Belgium.

The pop-up boutique will stock Hilfiger’s capsule collection Prep World; described by Tommy.com as “preppy classics with a twist”.

Oh, and the house is fab! (pre-fab that is).
