The designer behind the glamour and fun is Anna Hickman Evans, whose work always pays homage to her Scottish Grandmother – who was an avid jewellery junkie – collecting pieces from all over the world.
Anna herself studied Art and Design at Edinburgh University and after working for both ELLE and Red magazine she established MaggieAngus in early 2010. Her designs are also based around her endless doodles, quirky and beautiful vintage finds and a large dose of chic mischief and fun.
The label’s fresh and playful approach to jewellery design also has an unmistakably British edge, which has already gained Anna both press and online attention; and many fans of her styles and designs.
