Chart-topping boyband JLS triumphed at The Mobo Awards last night  picking up two gongs including ‘Best Newcomer’ and ‘Best Song’ beating rival X-Factor contestant and winner, Alexandra Burke.

The ceremony also posthumously honoured Michael Jackson, by presenting a ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ to sister LaToya and brother Jermaine who attended the star-studded event and also performed in Michael’s memory.

Other performers included Kelly Rowland, Tinchy Stryder, Taio Cruz, Keri Wilson and Britain’s Got Talent winners, Diversity. UK trio N-Dubz also collected the ‘Best Album’ and ‘Best UK Act’ awards.
