The Black Eyed Peas, The Saturdays, JLS, Alexander Burke and Pixie Lott are all attending this year’s premiere Teen Event, BBC Switch Live, hosted by Kimberley Walsh from Girls Aloud and Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw.

The event celebrates the best in British talent, voted for by BBC Switch viewers and listeners. BBC Switch, the BBC’s teen brand has secured performances from some of the biggest music stars in the teen world which takes place on Sunday 8 November at the Hammersmith Apollo in London.

Stars will perform in front of over 4,000 14-17 year olds at the event, which is now in its second year. Presenter Kimberley Walsh said: “I am really looking forward to be co-hosting the BBC Switch Live event with Nick Grimshaw. The line up looks amazing – it’s going to be a great day.”

BBC Switch Live will be broadcast on BBC 1 a week later on Sunday 15 November, featuring additional backstage reports and celebrity interviews from Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac and The 5:19 Show presenters Tom Deacon and AJ Odudu.
